How do you ensure the safety and well-being of the pets under your care?
I work on a 1-1 basis to ensure I have eyes on the dog at all time! I also ensure there is nothing around that is dangerous to the dog as safety is my number one priority
What protocols do you have in place for emergencies or unexpected situations?
I take the clients vet details and their phone number and address to ensure I can contact them if needed.
How do you handle difficult or aggressive pets, if applicable to your services?
I either use muzzles and stay calm throughout the whole experience and keep the space comfortable. Or, I will recommend more than one visit where the first will be just a bath and dry then every 4 weeks we would work up to a trim then a full groom.
How do you ensure a clean and hygienic environment for pets in your care?
I clean after every dog such as the table, bath and floor then one day a week I do a big deep clean of everything in detail. I also have a steriliser for all my equipment like my scissors and brushes that get cleaned and put in there after each client.
How do you communicate with clients regarding the status and well-being of their pets?
I will always ring them after the groom and let them know how it went and if there were any changes in the dogs behaviour or type of groom they received.
Are you open to accommodating special requests from pet owners?
Yes, I always try to make their request possible and do my best to complete them
